Hello! I'm Chelsea
I am an art educator with 14 years experience who creates an engaging and safe environment that all students can come and explore the world around them through hands on activities. Art makes our world a vibrant place. In my classroom students see how art connects us to the world around us and how creating something with your own hands makes something in our soul smile.

STUDENT WORK
CLASSROOM
My classroom is filled with engaging opportunities for all students. We plan designs in sketchbooks, explore new materials, analyze art of old and new, problem solve ways to construct new things and reflect on the process and the art produced. My classroom is a safe place where students are encouraged to find their inner creativity they might not have realized was even there. Like Picasso said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain one once we grow up." I want students to know just that. We all have an innate desire to produce things we are proud of from the beginning. My job is to show them ways to express what they already have on the inside!
